About This Site

This site holds my notes for the Islamic sciences. I am a student, not a scholar, and these pages should not be read as authoritative rulings or as a substitute for study with a qualified teacher. Corrections are welcome.

One thing I think the ummah is in desperate need of right now is being more deliberate about the next generation. This can happen in a few ways, but I truly brlieve thinking ahead rather than reacting and doing the small things with ihsan rather than doing them halfway will help set better, more positive trends. Knowledge has always been passed down link by link, teacher to student, generation to generation, and every link in that chain depends on someone taking the trouble to actually record what they were given clearly enough that the next person can pick it up and carry it further.

I don't have much to offer toward that beyond what is in front of me. The classes I am actually sitting in, the texts I am actually reading, and the time it takes to write it all down properly rather than letting it stay scattered across notebooks and memory. This site is my attempt to do that small part with care. My hope is that these notes end up useful to other students walking a similar path, and even to teachers looking for a clear way to explain a point they already know well. If even one person benefits from something here, or is spared having to relearn something the hard way, that is enough reason for the site to exist.

I ask Allah to accept this effort, to overlook its many shortcomings, and to make it a means of benefit long after I've stopped actively adding to it, Ameen.
